Inspired by decades of design movements with an unmistakably modern aesthetic that transcends time, the Modern Mood Round Dining Table is a statement piece with a softly sophisticated profile. Featuring metal banding accents on the base in a warm pewter finish, it is crafted of Quartered Oak Veneers in a Diamond Finish with crystal-like alabaster hues. With one 18-inch leaf, the table extends up to 72 inches round. Unbound by geographical design, Modern Mood presents itself as an evolution of design choices, spanning a variety of decades and design movements, while maintaining an unmistakably modern aesthetic that transcends time. The 90-piece collection includes bedroom, dining room, home office, accent and occasional items characterized by substantive forms with soft architectural details.
 
Elevated materials and brushed metal accents in a warm pewter finish are evident throughout the collection, including metal banding and edging as well as marble and glass accents. Crafted with flat cut quartered oak veneer with wire-brushed detailing, Modern Mood is presented in two finishes: Mink and Diamond. Delivering a dark, earthy brown with notes of black, Mink delivers a timeless aesthetic. A much lighter presentation is achieved with the crystal-like alabaster and pewter hues of the Diamond finish, delivering a soft sophistication.
 
Finish Construction: 
A multiple-step finish process of up to 16 finish steps. This results in an unsurpassed clarity, depth and color richness and durability to our finishes. Through hand-craftsmanship such as rubbing and padding, our finishes feel as good as they look, with a smoothness that is delightful to the touch.
 
Frame Construction: 
Solid wood and select wood veneers over durable wood products in our furniture construction. Use of veneers enables more decorative looks unattainable with solid wood. Veneers are used over durable wood products such as medium density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board, made of renewable resources. MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large surfaces. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longer-lasting furniture.
